"Over the past few years,
I have enjoyed a return to my art studies and painting after taking a ten-year
hiatus while my children were young. I love to paint the beauty of
nature found in places like the East Coast, quiet northern lakes, the woods,
and in children
"I grew up surrounded by
paintings with my father being a professional artist for nearly 40 years.
After graduating from the University of Guelph with a degree in Human Biology,
I taught dance and fitness classes for several years. I then took
an interest in painting and with a guidance of my father over the years,
my otherwise the self-taught paintings skills began to develop.
"When I am not painting,
I keep busy with my Scottish Country Dancing in Hamilton and also with
the Dundas Pipe and Drum band, where my husband and two sons are members.
My husband and I, with our four children, run the farm in the former area
of Flamborough."
